Chris Adam (Midfield)
Chris is an experienced player at this level of football and was signed from Unibond Premier Division rivals Hednesford Town soon after Mark Shaw’s arrival as manager having also had a spell with Buxton. He plays on the left wing in midfield and has an excellent left foot.

Neil Ashley (Midfielder)
Played formerly with Glapwell and Belper Town and was part of the Frickley Athletic side who finished as UniBond League Premier Division runners up to Blyth Spartans in 2005/06. Neil joined Matlock Town from Grantham Town in March 2007 and joined Lincoln United in March 2008.

Mark Ashton (Striker)
Mark joined Lincoln United from Retford in March 08 having played 3 successful years in Alfreton’s youth team. He has immense pace and determination and can score goals.
Danny Brooks (Midfield)
Danny is a talanted left-sided player who is another retained from last season. He mainly operates in defensive areas but can play in a more attacking role. Danny is a good set-piece taker.
Scott Brough (Defender/Midfielder)
Doncaster born Scott is an experienced player having played 57 games for Scunthorpe before moving to Barrow. He signed for Boston United in 2003 and has had spells at Frickley and Brigg. Joined Lincoln United from Buxton in January 2008.
Gio Carchedi (Striker)
Gio is one of only four players remaining from John Wilkinson’s squad last season. He impressed last season for the Whites, particularly towards the end of the campaign and scored nine goals in total. Gio is a skillful player who was once on the books at Grimsby Town. He originally joined the club from Armthorpe Welfare a couple of seasons ago.

A quality commanding centre back who started his career at Newcastle United before spells with Sheffield United, Hucknall Town, Barrow, Stocksbridge Park Steels, Retford United and Sheffield FC. Signed on loan from Alfreton Town.

Ash is a defender who is adept at either right-back or operating in the centre of defence. He was signed from Unibond Premier Division rivals Buxton and his whole-hearted displays have earned him plaudits since joining the Whites in October 2007.

Spent a long number of years on the books of Sheffield Wednesday before leaving due to injury and going to university. Trained with Alasgar last season and is looking to make the transition to the Unibond Premier Division. Young strong and quick, Johnathan has a bright future ahead of him.

James Thompson (Midfielder)
James is a competitive midfielder who joined as one of Mark Shaw’s first acquisitions after they were together at Retford United. He has previously played for Maltby Main. James has adapted very well to the demands of the top Unibond League.

Andy Toyne (Defender/Midfield)
Versatile right-footed player who joined the Whites early into the 07-08 season from Unibond Premier Division rivals Stamford. Andy started his career with city rivals Lincoln City and has played in both defence and midfield since his switch from The Vic Couzens Stadium.

Adam Tyler (Midfielder)
Adam is another player who was at Cannon Park with manager Mark Shaw. The industrious midfielder has also had spells with Staveley Miners Welfare and Northern Counties Eastern League team Hallam.

Leon Wainman (Striker)
Leon joined Sheffield in the summer of 2007 after spending 6 seasons with North Ferriby for whom he started some 127 matches and scored 24 goals. Leon can play as a central striker or wide midfield player and has natural pace and a fantastic workrate. Joined “The Whites” in February 2008
Leigh Walker (Goalkeeper)
Walker joined Lincoln United following the arrival of Mark Shaw as manager. He started his career as a trainee at Sheffield United and moved to Ashby Avenue from AFC Sutton Town.
Gary Walters (Midfield)
Gary is another long serving player of the club and is a talented, left-sided player who is capable of operating defensively or in attack.
Steve Woolley
Steve came through the youth system at Alfreton Town and played many first team games for Alfreton before joining Retford United halfway through the 2005/2006 season. The very skilful winger joined Lincoln United in January 2008.
